Is this logical or fair?

Our ire was raised when we read this article and just had to make a comment...or two...or three...or more on what was written. (Our response after article)

SAN FRANCISCO - Employers can fire workers who use medical marijuana even if it was legally recommended by a doctor, the California Supreme Court ruled Thursday, dealing the state another setback in its standoff with federal law enforcement.

The high court upheld a small Sacramento telecommunications company's firing of a man who flunked a company-ordered drug test. Gary Ross held a medical marijuana card authorizing him to use the drug to treat a back injury sustained while serving in the Air Force.

The company, Ragingwire Inc., argued that it rightfully fired Ross because all marijuana use is illegal under federal law, which does not recognize the medical marijuana laws in California and 11 other states.

The justices upheld that argument in a 5-2 decision.

"No state law could completely legalize marijuana for medical purposes because the drug remains illegal under federal law," Justice Kathryn Werdegar wrote for the majority.

The U.S. Supreme Court declared in 2005 that state medicinal marijuana laws don't protect users from prosecution. The Drug Enforcement Administration and other federal agencies have been actively shutting down major medical marijuana dispensaries throughout California over the last two years and charging their operators with felony distribution charges.

Ragingwire said it fired Ross because it feared it could be the target of a federal raid, among other reasons.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority and the Western Electrical Contractors Association Inc. had joined Ragingwire's case, arguing that companies could lose federal contracts and grants if they allowed employees to smoke pot.

The conservative nonprofit Pacific Legal Foundation said in a friend-of-the-court filing that employers could also be liable for damage done by high workers.

Ross had argued that medical marijuana users should receive the same workplace protection from discipline that employees with valid painkiller prescriptions do. California voters legalized medicinal marijuana in 1996.

The nonprofit marijuana advocacy group Americans for Safe Access, which represents Ross, estimates that 300,000 Americans use medical marijuana. The Oakland-based group said it has received hundreds of employee discrimination complaints in California since it began tracking the issue in 2005.

Safe Access attorney Joe Elford said the group will now focus on urging the Legislature to pass a law protecting workers who use medical marijuana.

"We remain confident that there will be a day when medical marijuana patients are not discriminated against in the workplace," he said.

Assemblyman Mark Leno, a Democrat who represents part of San Francisco, said he will introduce legislation addressing those concerns in the next few weeks.

The ruling "strikes a serious blow to patients' rights," he said.

Eleven states have adopted medical-marijuana laws similar to California's: Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

The American Medical Association advocates keeping marijuana classified as a tightly controlled and dangerous drug that should not be legalized until more research is done.

OUR RESPONSE TO ARTICLE....

The Anti-Marijuana Assoc. (A.M.A) constantly deals designer death drugs that are proven killers, hospitalise hundreds of thousands in America, and they deal drugs that react violently with other drugs…. and the only excuse for their neurotoxic designer death drug flood to be given mastery is the sickening buzzword 'legal'?

How dare people stand under the name of JUSTICE, while they dictate injustice and supremacy, just so that their drug cartels can be masters of medicine.

Herbs are violated, sufferers are violated, medical rights are violated, culture is violated and they advocate the genocide of a genus. And we're supposed to trust these drug addicts when they tell us that their drugs only, are essential for human survival, while our herbs have no medical use whatsoever? This is like stating ‘a Jew has no rights in an Aryan civilisation‘.

American, British and Australian Drug Cartel supremacy is becoming a sick joke and we ain't laughing anymore and neither are the people who suffer.

While the AMA, Politicians and the Drug Lords who have bought and paid for them can put drugs out (that are proven killers) on the street, without knowing the long term side effects, or releasing the true information about the drug, they have no rights to state 'We need more information done' about a medicine that has been beneficially applied for 10,000 years, and has been documented for at least 4,000.

Maybe if the AMA showed the same respect that true cannabists do, then they would start working with the least toxic drugs instead of the Stil-Nox-ious ones. The Designer death drug range of the A.M.A and their Drug cartels has failed miserably, and the only reason we can't have medical cannabis is because 'if they can't deal it, you can't have it'. 'If they can't make a buck, you can go and get ________," because revenue is what it's all about.

To these drug addict and power addict supremacists we, Medical Cannabis Awareness state, "Patients before Politics, suffering before supremacy, medicine before media, respect before revenue, compassion before control, justice before injustice, deliverance before discrimination, benefit before brutality, acceptance before apartheid, health before wealth and need before greed.

And as for recreational and medicinal drug taking employers (albeit buzzword 'legal' drugs) firing someone because they have traces of a medicine in their system that is safer than the ones they take (ie to coin the Prodigy, "smacking their proverbial 'bitch' up with") on a regular and blatant basis. There's not one work area that doesn't have drugs in its fridge, drugs in its cabinet, or drugs in its workers, and these same drug takers (who take class A, B & C drugs under the Criteria Of Harm and not Revenue and Political bias) have the gall to hunt people down and persecute them for a safer drug of choice than the one they're taking?…. just like the Supreme Court, the Local Court, the Police, the President of the United States, the Prime Ministers of Australia and the U.K. do, as well as the rest of the 'No tolerance on your drugs, while we praise ours only' collective.

Is there any difference between eradicating someone else's choice of medicine vs eradicating someone else’s choice of religion? Medicine nowadays is a FORCED religion. You must worship what they tell you to worship. You must only respect what they tell you to respect. You must bow down and kow-tow to anything they demand. You must believe their doctrine only, while they eradicate yours. This is how the war between Catholics and Protestants, Christians and Muslims, etc. got started. Supremacy and apartheid discrimination has infiltrated medicine and now makes slaves of people who are just trying to improve their quality of life and beneficially help their condition, without risk of death, hospitalisation and destructive side effects ie organ failure.

We have always had a very simple statement when it comes to all drugs of choice, and that is, 'Get informed, get healthy, then respect your drug of choice'.

The Supreme (What a brilliant connotation for a Supremacist organisation) Court and the drug addicts and drug lords (albeit buzzword 'legal') who control them have robbed the individual of the human rights of self-medication, choice, individual respect, justice, acceptance, understanding, and replaced them with "Do what I say or be eradicated under a 'No Tolerance on your choices only' Policy".

Note: For those under the delusion that drugs can be governed by twisted buzzwords, remember slavery used to be legal and the kilt and the tomato were branded illegal. A drug is not safer just because it is advocated or pushed on you by a Celebrity or a Pharmaceutical Drug Lord or a Politician. Drugs are drugs.

Can anyone explain to us why people get charged for cannabis and not the tetra-hydro-cannabinol psychoactive drug that is contained in it? It makes no difference to them whether it has 1% THC or 27% THC, to them it's all bad. Meanwhile, our Politicians allow ethanol drug cartels to state that their recreational psychoactive party drug of choice is "all good" (even though we lose 4,000+ a year from it in Australia alone), and, they allow news reporters to become Pharmaceutical drug pushers who now state that "these drugs are essential for human survival" (even though we lose 10,000 a year in Australia alone, thanks to their drug flood). and "no matter the side effects, don't stop taking their drugs", and this statement is backed up by the A.M.A. in Australia, the A.M.A. in America and the B.M.A. in the U.K.

Can anyone see the Drug Empire that is being created while tribal beliefs, to do with medicine and recreation, are being genocided? Sounds very much like ethnic cleansing, which is a war crime. Govvy states, "We're declaring war on drugs", but in reality they're declaring uncivil war on human beings, (their own people), just to establish Drug Empire with Liberty, and justice for all (USA), the Fair Go for All (Australia) and A fair chance in life (UK) being flushed down the toilet along with human rights.

This dictatorial and supremacist practice must be stopped before the buzzword legal cartels become so powerful that no-one will give a damn when they kill whoever they want, or eradicate whoever they want. The Criteria of a drug cartel soldier is very simple. "Protect the Drug Lord, eradicate the competition, suppress any negative truth, discriminate and put down any other choice and eradicate the culture that it is to do with. Under this criteria there is no difference between Police, Judges, Politicians, Media, Celebrity, etc. and crack cocaine soldiers.

Police used to stand for Protecting Ordinary Liberated Individual Citizens Equally, but when it comes to drugs Police have been eradicated and replaced with C.O.P.S. - The Corporate Organised Protection Squad. We have always had great respect for our POLICE, but not for the drug C.O.P.S. who are drug takers themselves…..

…….. and to parody an ethanol drug lord in Australia (after a long, hard day eradicating use and choice and hunting down medical sufferers, as well as recreational indulgers), a boy or girl in blue builds up "a hard earned thirst", that can only be quenched by a big cold beer/psychoactive, neurotoxic, class A drug on par with heroin called Ethane Hydroxide, also called ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol.

Politicians have even confessed that they write laws while taking this psychoactive drug, or when they go for conferences. Yet they still believe they have the right to eradicate someone else's choice of non-toxic, psychoactive drug and the plant race that provides it? Why?

Could it be because they hate the genus, the culture, the belief system, the religious, medicinal and recreational applications of one of the most beneficial herbal races on the earth? Why must we continue to put up with this hate crime?

Why must we continue to put up with Prohibition of selective, individual use and choice that is the cause of most, if not all, of the criminal problems associated with drugs of choice on both sides of the licit/illicit divide. Just like in the days of ethanol drug prohibition, Albert Einstein said it best:

For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this." Albert Einstein, 1921

And to get an American President or two’s opinion:

Now we'd like to add two statements, one from our Australian Former Prime Minister Mr. John Howard and one from our present Prime Minister Mr. Kevin Rudd.

Former P.M. J. Howard - "The role of Government is not to tell the people what risks and choices they can and can't take"

P.M. K.Rudd - "Australians should not be kow-towing to anybody when it comes to freedom in this country".

Also, a statement from a well known medical practitioner in Australia, Dr. Kerryn Phelps: "The bottom line is we are talking about people who on compassionate grounds need a medical treatment ..."

I would challenge any politician to look any person in the eye who has intolerable symptoms ... and say we know there is something that might work for you but we are not going to make it legal."

And last, but not least, Paul Connett,Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at St.Lawrence University, N.Y. stated recently, "By enforcing the public to consume (a particular medication) NSW Health is doing what no Doctor is allowed to do - enforce medication. This is an unethical violation of a central tenet of medical practice and a breach of some basic human rights". (Stated about forcing people to drink fluoridated water when they don't want to).

Yes, folks, like we have stated for years, "To deny someone their particular medication of choice is to forcefully recommend yours. Forced/Mandatory choice is no choice at all, it is slavery".

As part of the Declaration of Independence states: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness……. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, (and we add….through policies of social segregation, defined by 'differential and/or preferential treatment') it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government (policies), laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness".

Slavery was abolished in America, the U.K. Australia and other countries because people finally recognised it as a violation and an abuse of human rights. A Zero Tolerance Policy that targets people for their choice only and not for whether they beneficially apply or blatantly abuse it is tantamount to slavery. We don't ban cars even though people speed and commit other abuses in them, we don't ban pools even though children drown in them, and we don't ban ethyl alcohol even though it is stated as the drug of choice for teens in Australia, and children at the age of 10 are prostituting themselves for a beer! (Yes, this abuse is happening, and probably in other countries too).

We don't ban food even though obesity is one of the World's worst health crises, we don't ban peanuts and seafood etc. as well as milk and gluten, even though a lot of people can get very sick and/or die from them.

So, can anyone see any LOGICAL reason to ban respectful, beneficial application of the cannabis herbal race, as well as to commit genocide on such race and its culture? We can’t.
